Ford Probe Turbo

The Ford Probe is a car that is competitive enough in terms of its performance
capabilities. It has a superb handling and a speed enough to overtake ordinary
sedans and other small cars. But the base model's speed is only acceptable for
a race car. It can overtake other passenger car but not other cars in the race
rack. If you want to race your Ford Probe, you must find ways to improve the performance
of its engine.
Buying the Ford Probe GT can solve your speed problem as it uses a V6 engine
that produces more power than the I4 engine of the base trim. The GT trim cost
much higher though. If you can't afford the price tag of the GT, another solution
would be to install a turbocharger. Probe GTs were once equipped with a turbocharged
2.2 liter I4 engine but later dropped it in favor of the smoother V6. Turbochargers
are products that forces additional air into your car's engine for it to burn
more fuel and produce more power.
Turbochargers are usually fitted in cars equipped with an inline type four-cylinder
engine to make it more powerful yet still provide good fuel economy. Equipping
your Ford Probe with turbochargers can make it perform better and much speedier
than it was originally with the stock engine.
