Ford Probe Spoiler

Except for the GTs, Ford Probe cars come very basic in styling. Although it performs
like a race car, you would never hint that it is one because of its very simple
style and design. You can, however, make it look more aggressive by adding a few
accessories.
One of the accessories that you can install in your Ford Probe to make it look
sportier is the spoiler. Spoilers were originally designed to make a car faster
by redirecting air flow around it. For street cars and trucks, however, it is
a basic restyling product that wouldn't affect its performance but make it look
sportier and more aggressive. It can give your car a muscular and a race car look.
There are many types of spoilers, two of which are commonly used as restyling
products for sedans and other smaller cars. The front spoiler, or air dam, is
positioned under the bumper and can make your car look closer to the ground. The
rear spoiler, or wing, is installed on top of the trunklid and give your car a
look reminiscent of race cars. Other types of spoilers include cab spoilers, tailgate
spoilers, truck cap spoilers and tonneau cover spoilers.
Most spoilers available for the Ford Probe are included in body kits. There are
also spoilers being sold separately. These spoilers may come in different colors,
but most buyers would select those having the body color of their car. They are
also made from a variety of materials like fiber glass, carbon fiber and aluminum.
