1995 Ford Probe GT

The Ford Probe GT is an authentic race car. It has a huge amount of power, drives fast and smooth, accelerates quickly and has an excellent handling and cornering capability. And for 1995, Ford gave it additional styling aids to make it look more like a race car.

 

Most Ford Probe GT owners seem satisfied with the performance of the sports coupe so that ford has decided not to make any major enhancements for 1994. It retains the 2.5 liter V6 engine that creates a good amount of power and torque. And not only does the V6 provide excellent power but also quick acceleration and a smoother drive than the previous turbocharged engine. The 5-speed manual transmission has been efficient in using the power provided by the engine so that it is also retained for 1995. Handling and cornering capabilities has never been better with the car's lengthier and lower body.

 

Instead of replacing the said powertrain and drivetrain features, ford concentrated on making the GT look more like a race car. It gets new taillights with black outlining and changed backup lights. A spoiler and 16 inches wheels were also added as standard feature. A center reflector with the GT logo was also added between the taillights while the GT logo on the rear bumper was replaced with the '24V' logo.
