1995 Ford Probe

The expected improvements in terms of safety did not come in 1995, so are the
expected further improvements to be made for the base trim. Instead, only a minor
exterior change was made and the expected improvements to be made for the base
trim were rather included in a new trim. Still, there was not much change for
the Ford Probe since its major redesign in 1993.
Powertrain and drivetrain features for both the base and GT trims remained unchanged
for 1995. The base model is still equipped with the 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine
while the GT was still fitted with the 2.5 liter V6. No performance improvement
was seen for this year as the engines still produce the same amount of power and
torque. The 5-speed transmission continues to be the standard while the 4-speed
automatic is still optional.
If there were any changes made for 1994, it would be the introduction of the
SE trim. This trim is the previous Sports Option package for the base-trim. Instead
of making the base trim better, this new trim was introduced instead. The only
other noticeable change aside from this new trim is the new set of taillights.
Other than these, there were none.
